Description Manage multiple projects integrating Transactional Tax Engines (Vertex, Taxware, Sabrix) with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications, including Oracle, SAP, and/or custom/legacy. Work with tax team and business units to develop functional requirements document for sales tax and value added tax process within financial systems. Work with and direct work of global development companies on shore and off shore to deploy functional requirements.
Requirements:
BS in Accounting or equivalent degree.
2+ years experience integrating Transactional Tax Engines with ERP applications. Preference given to Oracle.
4+ years experience in sales tax or value added tax.
6+ years experience managing complex ERP projects may be substituted for relevant tax experience. Preference given to Oracle.
Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, negotiation, and inter-personal skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated experience as a leader, of multi-disciplinary global project teams.
Accounting knowledge and experience.
Desktop systems awareness Microsoft office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Desired Qualifications:
Certified Public Accountant or equivalent.
Six Sigma Quality (Green Belt) training
Advanced degree with specialization in tax or accounting
