Leading and established Medical Communications Company in the Northeast is seeking a CEO. The company partners with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to effectively build brand awareness and to detail capabilities within the medical community.
It is steeped in science writing/content, strategic and tactical marketing, and significant technological innovativeness and capability. Its capabilities are applied to all phases in a drug life-cycle, and manifest themselves in strategic science content services, digital solutions, marketing account management, and speaker/meeting management within strict compliance standards.
The company is based in the Northeast, and the selected candidate will be expected to live in the vicinity of the business. Travel is estimated to be an average of 5 days a month, with occasional overnights.
The company seeks an experienced executive from the Medical Communications/Marketing sector.
The chosen candidate inherits a highly skilled, capable, and seasoned senior management team. The candidate must demonstrate, via experience and/or key characteristics, the ability to deploy this senior management team effectively, in order to maintain a solid operating and financial platform while aggressively growing the business. The ability to mentor senior managers to enhance their advancement potential will be a critical hiring factor.
Base salary is in the $180K-210K range, plus a bonus plan and equity participation via a Performance Participation Plan.
Proven leadership skills that lend themselves to building and rallying a highly motivated and talented team of professionals toward aggressive performance goals is vital. Understanding the financial and operational functionality of a business is critical.
