Description:
Are you a sales and marketing executive who has experience selling to OEMS in the off highway market? Are you a sales and marketing executive who has a track record of increasing sales? Are you a sales and marketing executive who wants to join a non-automotive LOB of a company which is clearly a global leader in its field? If you can answer "yes" to these questions, you should consider this opportunity.
Reporting the President of the $35M LOB of a $450M+ company, you will play a significant role in the growth of the company. In this role you will join a dynamic leadership team as you use your business development experience in further developing relationships with current customers, as well as building relationships with new clients in new markets with newly developed product lines. Our client has a culture that tries to balance what the company wants with what the employee wants both professionally and personally to offer win/win opportunities for both.

Responsibilities:
  • Creation of business strategy including new market entry
  • New product development and launches
  • Advertising/promotion of products and services
  • Achieving stretch sales/market targets
  • Being responsible for product pricing
  • Working with OEM accounts and dealers to understand their needs and identify opportunities through Voice of the Customer (VOC).
  • Lead and implement marketing programs and promotion
  • Lead development of marketing/advertising/promotional material

Requirements:

  • BS in Engineering. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in a sales and marketing leadership role
  • Experience working with Off Highway OEMs
  • Ability to set/lead/support strategic directions
  • Experience leading teams
  • Ability to lead and create presentations, business cases, and other analysis
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to coach and mentor sales people on different marketing programs, strategy, and initiatives
  • Track record of successfully implementing improvement plans and key initiatives
  • Experience with Toyota Production System a plus.
