Radar Lead Subsystem Engineer serves as the System Engineering focal point for the subsystem. Primary responsibilities include:
Development and management of all requirements allocated to the subsystem
Hardware and software architecture development including processing, network and communication functions.
Development, allocation and derivation of hardware and software subassembly requirements and interfaces.
Hardware and Software Timing and Sizing analysis
Performance definition and derivation in response to allocated requirements,
Support and perform modeling and analysis for Technical Performance measures.
Support and oversight of detailed design and design review support.
Plan and coordinate system test and integration approaches and activities. Development and execution of Test Plans and Procedures for verification and validation of subsystem.
Participate in Customer Design reviews and technical interchanges.
Define and develop technical data associated with the subsystem as necessary.
Coordination and support of customer interactions.
Identify and resolve issues in real-time with close coordination with other IPTs.
REQUIREMENTS
Significant knowledge in several aspects of radar systems and systems engineering processes
Solid background in communications and network design
Experience with open systems design
Proficient use of Artisan, DOORS, Matlab and basic MS Office applications
The candidate must also be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance. Some domestic travel required.
